Earth Day Bug Snacks

Can you be-leaf we get to call this planet home? Celebrate Earth Day and all its little critters with these cute and healthy bug snacks! 

Ingredients

• Apple
• Blueberries
• Celery
• Red and Green Grapes
• Peanut Butter or Cream Cheese
• Candy Eyes or Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions

Prep

1. Cut the celery sticks into various sizes and slice the apple.
2. Cut one piece of celery into small matchsticks.
3. Place some peanut butter or cream cheese into a small Ziplock bag and cut a small amount off one corner.

Make The Snails

1. Pipe a layer of peanut butter or cream cheese to fill the celery sticks and top with a slice of apple for the shell. Add a grape or blueberry for the head and use the peanut butter or cream cheese to glue on candy eyes.

Make The Caterpillars

1. Pipe a layer of peanut butter or cream cheese to fill the celery sticks and top with grapes or blueberries for the body and head. Use the peanut butter or cream cheese to glue on candy eyes and the celery matchsticks for antennae.
